As your councillor, I have championed increased funding for our regional parks, expanded transport options including allowing dogs on buses, secured the one million dollar biodiversity fund for Christchurch, and led passenger rail development efforts.
I worked hard to get our meetings live streamed so that residents can see our decision making in action. It would be an honour to continue to represent you and east Christchurch again at the regional council.

From a farming family in Canterbury, I was drawn to environmental planning, and have worked in landscape architecture and resource management in local and central government and the private sector for 35 years. On Environment Canterbury I will bring my lifetime of experience as a problem solver and collaborator.
We can have well-connected and affordable transport, manage our air, soils, waters and protect our precious ecosystems for vibrant communities, a strong resilient economy and abundant mahinga kai.

I am standing for Environment Canterbury, offering my environmental management skills and collaborative thinking to help increase our awareness of the environment in our decision making.
I spent three years on the Banks Peninsula Water Zone Committee which gave me insight into the challenges we face with land-use and fresh water health.
Canterbury deserves a sustainable and prosperous future. I will work tirelessly with iwi, businesses and communities to achieve this goal.
